Learning Tuition & Consultancy

FLEXIBLE TUITION THAT FOLLOWS YOU AROUND THE GLOBE

Over the past few years, especially in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, our clients, particularly families, have shown a remarkable shift in their travel preferences. The focus now lies in extended journeys to far-flung and challenging destinations—precisely where Antilophia succeeds. We excel in guiding our clients off the beaten path, enabling them to embark on enlightening voyages where every family member learns about the history, culture, and landscapes of each place. Our expert guides on the ground ensure our clients’ safety throughout the journey. Moreover, many of our families choose to accompany their trips with an SLT tutor, allowing their children to continue their studies while immersing themselves in the essence of the visited country.

They can be studying in the morning and surfing in the afternoon

EVERYTHING YOU NEED FOR A LONGER STAY

SLT tutors possess extensive experience in teaching core subjects at all levels. Whether it’s nurturing numeracy and literacy skills in young children or preparing adolescents for university entrance exams, their expertise extends beyond the conventional classroom. They can design academic tours that align with our itineraries, utilizing the visited locations as educational pillars.

Whether the tutor accompanies the family during a parents’ sabbatical or assists them in exam preparations during school holidays, we the right considered approach and planning, we can organise a trip enabling children to travel and learn simultaneously. The key lies in finding the perfect balance—an exhilarating holiday that opens their eyes to the world, combined with adequate downtime for tutors to fulfil their role and support the children’s studies. We work closely with SLT to strike this balance, ensuring meticulous trip planning and scheduling. Families can either host a tutor as an integral part of their travel experience or opt for online tuition—whatever best suits their preferences.

One remarkable example is a family we assisted in arranging a trip to Brazil last year. After embarking on an exploration of the country, they concluded their adventure with a week-long stay at a stunning beach villa in Bahia. The SLT tutor provided academic support in the mornings, while the afternoons were dedicated to thrilling surfing sessions. It proved to be a win-win situation for all!

Petit and Franz with their family at the Sol Y Luna Hotel Foundation

IMMERSE YOURSELF IN THE LOCAL EDUCATION

In addition, we have partnered with significant global projects, enabling families to have an immersive experience in local schools. One such remarkable endeavour is the Sol y Luna hotel, school, and foundation located in Peru’s Sacred Valley. The Sol y Luna Foundation provides education and essential support to children from extreme poverty. Founded by Petit and Franz, a French-Swiss couple who relocated to Peru, the foundation has made a profound impact. We strongly encourage our families to visit the school and foundation, as previous clients have repeatedly emphasised that these were the most cherished and memorable moments of their journeys. Spending time interacting with the wonderful children and witnessing the incredible efforts of Petit and her team leaves an indelible impression. In fact, some teenagers have returned to Sol y Luna a couple of years later, volunteering at the school as part of their gap year before university.

We firmly believe that for families staying at Sol y Luna, visiting the foundation is an absolute must. It offers an invaluable opportunity for learning and cultural immersion for both local students and visiting children. Interacting in classes and playing games together in the playground fosters joy and inclusivity for everyone involved.
